In Chemistry we got into groups of 5 or 4 and when we were pared up we got 5 different ingredients. We had to come up with an ingredient that we can make there would be different chefs to critique or food and try it out and say what they liked and what could of done better.
During what we were cooking I learned how to make new food's I have an Idea on what I can make and how long I can cook the food for and making the wantons take forever to boll and there was a lot of heat coming out and frying it and it takes time to make it and learning the science was hard but one thing that I learned was the heat from the wontons.
During exhibition it was really hard because we didn't have that much done and I felt like we didn't have much time to cook and we still had to make it all nice and the judges still had to taste are food and we have other exhibitions going on and it was hard because at 4:00 we had a humanites project and I had to hurry because we had to be there at 5:10 and we still hadn't have are plate ready and we had to hurry up and I'm glad we did it on time and glad that judges liked what we made.
Me and my group we got is wontons, jalapenos, quinoa, cherry, and bacon when we got our ingredients we didn't know what we were gonna make and it was really hard but we came up with an idea we can do and it was a wonton stuff with bacon and jalapenos.
In our poster what me and my group were talking about is what are ingredients we got and the science of what we got and we had to research a lot of these food's because I didn't think it was a lot of work and it was.
When we had to practice to make are dish me and my group had to make a video of our dish and it took 3 periods to do it and we would have to record than stop and make the food and we would do it over and over and the food took forever to cook but we got half of out food done that day we had the next day to cook the rest of the food and at the end we would have to take a picture of the whole plate. Here is a video of me and my groups on what we made
